    Question about a just-ordered Superlight 29er

Greetings. I just ordered a new SC Superlight 29er, size small from my LBS. According to the website it comes with the Fox 120mm fork, although the Fox 100mm is an option. How can i tell for sure that my bike has the 120mm fork when it comes in? Is there a label or something on the fork? Thanks for any help.

Measure from the seal on the staction to the lower part of the crow. That measurement should be just a little bit over the travel of the fork

If you get the option you don't want, the shop can add or remove spacers to change the travel of the fork, and they should do it for free

Thanks, i was under the impression that the 120 could be made a 100, but the 100 could not be made a 120? am i mistaken? this is all new to me since i'm coming from a 10 year old trek fuel.

They SHOULD ship it with a fork that can be changed. I'm not sure, but I think there are 100mm floats that start at 100mm and can only be lowered. But my guess is that they are using a 120mm fork and some of them are spaced down to 100 if you choose that option

SC is good about shipping the bike with the build kit you spec'd.

If it is supposed to come with a 120mm fork...it will have a 120mm fork.
