    push link problem

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.
I have a 2013 nomad c with a push link and pushed rc4. Problem is, with the necessary torque to tighten the shock bolt on the adapter mount there is a great deal of friction.
If I remove the whole assembly, the link is very difficult to move /rotate.
Also,I can see thread marks on the inside of the mounting hardware, which, I'm sure happens with any setup to a degree.
Should I try different mounting hardware?
I've got a feeling needle roller beating setup word be a good option.

    can you provide more info?
Did you reuse the spacers and seals from the old link?
The torque on the axle itself should be low. Then the torque for the conical washer is much higher. did you get those values backwards?

Actually, reread your post again, sorry really confused.

Is you issue with the push linkage, or with the shock extension? The shock extension should not move at all, it should be rigid and its function is to make the shock longer. For the part that attaches to the linkage, it should have a pin and spacer supplied by Push if I remember right.

    Maybe post some pics too?

It's the pin that mounts the extension to the linkage(the bolt that goes through the mounting hardware and shock eye). All fixings to the frame are fine.
I bought the set second hand which was only three rides old. I'm using my original shock pin.

Contact Push directly, before you destroy anything (and it sounds like you may have already damaged it).
    I'll be along... eventually.

I agree with going straight to the source. I don't think they would give you any grief about buying second hand.

I am still kindof confused on the description though (and now curious), specifically:
"If I remove the whole assembly, the link is very difficult to move /rotate."

If your talking about taking the link of the bike and connecting the shock, then trying to move that joint, then it will be stiff. While it is a bushing system and made for movement, there is a lot of friction involved.

Wish you the best of luck, I really like what the link did for my bike.

    push link problem

Do you reuse the spacers and seals on the push link? Mine seems to have play without them.

You do re-use the bearing seals and spacers from the original link.
