    11.97kg :)

And now, after adding 1 tooth to the rear cog, ESI Chunkies and some mud guards (and some mud), it's gained 1/2Kg :(

I don't think it's the weight difference to my Kona Unit I notice so much as the Ardent/Ardent Race tyres vs the much faster rolling Fasttraks.

Some 2/35" Ikons may be more appropriate for my riding (lack of) style

Got my '17 Chameleon R1 about a month ago. Switched out all the Sram NX stuff to my old steel hardtail Dragon 29er and bought all new XT for the Chameleon. Made a great bike even better. Full XT setup and a dropper post. Everything else is stock. This bike is FUN! Flicky, nimble, extra grippy and just overall fun to ride. I love this bike!

What drop outs are those Mike? I have a 135 SS swinger drop outs from my highball would this work? Are they interchangeable? And one more thing? Does this version of chamelion 27.5 accept a Hammerschmidt crank? Been toying around with the idea of building a 2 speed bike... Any inputs? Thanks

Just converted my 3x10 '14 Chameleon to 1x11 XT (34t in front, 11-46t in back). It seems to work great - the chainlink is perfect and the chain doesn't derail when backpedaling on the 46t cog.

Nice! I ended up adding a chain follower around the front chainring to keep it from bouncing off in really rough terrain.

I have an older 1x9. May need to move up to these modern high tooth x11 cassettes soon.
