Thanks guys, that was very enjoyable. It's nice to see a video with riding that most of us can do. Instead of the type of stuff only top pros can do.

Yeah that video was/is really cool and the Nickel was a very cool bike killed too soon. [emoji846]

Suggest a diet for my Butcher
    Attachment 1072559

I recently slapped my Butcher back together- For a while i was on Carbon 456 and Chromag Aperture...but the orange beast was calling me...
    Heres whats on it now:
    Large frame
    Lyrik u turn coils
    mavic 819s on hope hubs
    sram x7(9 speed)
    slx dbl cranks
    xt brakes
    ks i7 dropper post
    chromag bars

The weight is at 33.3 LBS!!!!
    methinks too much
I do have another set of Lyrik with dual position air, but its only.5 lbs lighter-
Would going to 1x11 drivetrain save weight?
I can also put on my Revelation forks but Im not sure if I can set them to 150 mm(factory set at 140 mm)-not sure if it gets too noodely at that height.
Would love to bring it to 30 lbs or below- I know the easy way is to buy a new carbon frame but where is the fun in that!:)
My plan is also to get wider wheels/lighter wheels-mavic 819 have been great, but I find the 19mm internal rim is just too squirrely with a larger tire like trail king 2.2.
Any suggestions would be welcome- Thanks in advance

Lighter wheels, 1x drivetrain and the Lyrik air will probably get you down to 30lbs.

Lose some weight with wide carbon rims and add a bunch of stability. Oh shoot, you said your doing that. Forget what I said.

Well i got it down to 29.3 lbs!
    xt 11 speed
put revelation dual air on-I can always go back to lyrik air and gain a pound on it.
No Carbon rims- After scouring internets I could not find a reliable wheelset that did not cost an arm and a leg
Instead I ended upo getting hope tech enduro wheels-Just waiting on rear to arrive.
Loving the bike btw, glad I kept it.
