    Old Blur -- Crash replacement?

I've got a first gen Blur with a huge dent in the down tube. Does anyone know if SC will still offer a crash replacement on a bike this old?
If so, I can't imagine that they still have replacement front triangles for this frame, do they offer a choice of similar more recent frames?

Just curious at this point. Not sure what I would want from current bikes. (That would compliment my Tallboy LTc.). Highball, maybe?

Why don't you call them and ask?

I thought most every frame had a lifetime crash replacment policy but i'm not sure how far that dates back. At any rate, I bet they will honor a crash replacment for you and you'll probably be able to pick up either a blur ltc, tr, xc, or maybe even your highball all depending on frame availability. The blurs will cost you around 1k for the entire frame, maybe a little bit less. I'm not sure what the price on the highball would be.

Call SC and they will help you.
My g/fs 09 Blur XC got damaged on a flight to whistler last fall and SC helped us out and have upgraded to a new 2013 carbon Blur XC. yes is cost a bit of money but FAR less then a new frame. in our case West jet caught that tab.

    Sweet!

I'll give 'em a call, I just need to decide what frame I think I want first. Thanks for the input.....
