Nomad Mk1 rear linkage play. Worn bearings?
I've had quite a bit of play in the rear linkage. Just replaced the shock bushings and mounting hardware, but there still seems to be some play when I lift up on the seat.

Will worn bearings in the lower linkage give the same feeling of play as worn bushings? I'm having trouble locating the play. The rear shock mount seems fine with the new bushings.

Check the pivots on the lower link.
Slop in that frame from loose pivots in the lower link can mimic the knock you get from worn shock bushings.
If the pivots are snug and you still have slop, then check the lower link bearings and the link itself.
I've seen a few lower links that had lots of miles put on them when loose and eventually the links themselves needed replaced.

I think I got it. One of the pivot axles was impossible to tighten. I took it out, shortened it with a file and now it's snug and the play seems to be gone.

    Thanks!
