    No more Blur LT?

I see that the Blur LT is no longer listed on the Santa Cruz menus. The Blur LT page is actually still on the site, but has the Blur been taken out of production? If so, I'm glad I got mine when I did. Nothing against the Bronson and other 27.5 bikes, but I'll stick with a wheel size that has the most options for now.

Might as well. The resale on the BLT isn't going to be great.

Wear it out and then see what is what.

Nah, won't be selling it. At least not for a couple years.

I guess I am surprised it may not be around anymore. But, I am biased because I think it is the best FS I have ever ridden. And that after owning a few very good bikes from Turner and Specialized, and ridden quite a few others. Of course, SC may just be getting their stock and internet site updated. That sale certainly is nice--$1500 for a Blur LTc. Hope folks take advantage of that.

The picture on the VPLS site shows the 2013 model with the ISCG tabs and through axle rear but the description says 135mm rear. Was there a 135mm version with the ISCG tabs?

I have an LT2 and am not really concerned about it going EOL - all bikes do eventually. But what does concern me is frame replacement.

They upped the warranty to 5 years last year, what happens when this breaks? Do they have another 5.5" 26" frame? I have cracked 6 frames in the last 10 years (I am not a crazy big air rider, but Austin is harder than most places on frames...)

It is not a question of "if" but a question of "when", and when that happens I need to know that I have a good frame alternative. The clock is ticking....

SC will have a stock of spare frames based on historical need for them in that type of bike.

It's possible at the very end of the last few 5yr warranties they could run out, but I am sure they would work with those riders to reach a satisfactory conclusion.

Not concerned that they won't take care of me. Just hoping the world doesn't run away from 26" too fast. I'd hate to be given a 650b frame because that is the "closest" thing that they have.

I hear you. SC will have planned for the 5yr warranty so I would expect you'll be fine if you need stuff the first few years. In year 4 or 5 I could see them running out, but who knows you might consider a 650B warranty frame an upgrade in 3yrs.

Start hoarding parts for your soon to be extinct 26" MTB. Buy tubes, tires, rims and all the goodies now while there is a selection, soon it may be hard to find.
