    Nickel Fork Travel

As I recall SC based the geometry of the Nickel on a RS Revelation 130 which has a CA of 509mm. I went with a FOX F140 which has a CA of about 510mm so for another 1mm in length you get 10 mm in travel. Because I ride very tight technical trails I dropped the travel down 10mm to 130 but now I am thinking of going back to the 140. Given all the variables with fork set up, tire size and even stem length will I notice any difference with the extra 10mm?

Thanks for the responses. I have sent my fork to Push to be reconverted to 140 and have some improvements made while getting over an injury. My bike is set up as a 650B at 27.5 lbs. Hey MC Shawn how about a photo of the Dino! Without a doubt one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. I have been poking around looking at 328s.

27.5 with velvet at 140mm, I asked SC tech when building the bike and they said that the bike was designed around 130mm but 140mm works great as well. I've not yet felt compelled to adjust mine to 130, its fine with 140, I wouldn't run 150mm though.
Hardrock 29er, Niner EMD9, Cannondale F29, Camber Expert, 650b Nickel all gone.

With the Nickel 27.5 converstion on a 140mm/26 inch specific fork, how does the bike handles around the corners such as: highspeed sweeping turns, fast s-turns/chicanes, off camber sweeper?

I have my Nickel set at 140mm before and it was the best setup but it still doesn't carve the corner as well as the other bikes I had. Then again this is comparing to bikes with low bb such as: Stumpy FSR 26 Carbon Evo (13.1") & 2012 Superlight 26 (12.x"). I also had a Blur LT which had 13.8 BB. That bike doesn't carve the corner as well...
