    New Pike from RockShox

Well, pretty much saw this coming, but pretty darn awesome if you ask me! 35mm stanchions, black on black option . . . AND a 160mm 29er. I REALLY want to switch the ctd crap on my Tallboy LTc for a Pike front and Monarch Plus rear . . . Oh Rockshox, why do you want me to be poor?

Damn and I just picked up a closeout Revelation for my 29er.

Really loved my old Pike and this one looks to replace the Lyrik in 26ers and make a big improvement over the Revelation for the 650B and 29er market. Keep the Rev for the weight weenies and the Pike for the hard hitters. Glad that this isnt just a Lyrik with better dampers, sounds like improvements all around.

Yeah I'm excited too. Lighter than the Fox 34, with travel adjust and should be stiff as hell. I hope Santa Cruz starts offering it as an option on the Tallboy LTc.

I think its more of just a long travel revelation. It is using a charger damper that has a lockout setting and 15mm thru axle, more in line with FOX 34's. The Lyrik is still the better fork for aggressive riding with the mission control DH damper and 20mm thru axle.

Anybody know the axle to crown on this? I'd imagine ~545mm, in line with the current Lyriks, 34's and 36's.

Probably too much fork fer mi nickel, well shucks.
