Narrow Q-factor (156) XX crankset on Highball Aluminum.

Just ordered a Highball Aluminum and would like to run my XX crankset. I brain faded and just remembered this (narrow) crankset doesn't work on every bike. I'm going to call Santa Cruz but if I could find out before tomorrow it would allow me to avoid a chain ring purchase refund headache.

    From SC Website:

Can I use XX and other 2x10 cranks?
Yes, the Highball is compatible with all 2x10 and 3x10 cranks that we are aware of- including the 156mm q-factor XX cranks.

I have a Highball with XX1 and there is no room for the chain in the 1st ring. There is no space between the cassette and the dropout; help!?!?!?
