Smile My new Precious uh I mean Nomad

I have had this bike for acouple of weeks and I am so happy with my purchase. This bike can do it all. It hucks a bit and rides like a cross country bike. I wieghs just short of 32 pounds and I am just now getting the tuneing of the shock and fork the way I want it. But to say I am impressed with how it rides is an understatement. THis bike flat out rocks and I so happy I got it. Just toadd to the debate. I am 5'11 and bought the large. It was the right way to go if I had gone smaller I would have felt to cramped in th cock pit.

    Smile Sorry no pictures yet

As my camera is having some issues. I will have to weight before showing pictures I went with SC's build kit which discounts the over all price. I went with the all mo X9 AM mountian build rather then the more DH SPX FR build. The main difference being coil versos talas air and a chian guide.

large nomad silver anodized frame with Fox DHX air and
    Fox 36 Talas RC2
REAR DER SRAM X9 medium cage
    FRONT DER Shimano M760 (XT)
    SHIFTERS SRAM X9 triggers
CRANKSET TruVativ Stylo Team w/ Giga X Drive 22/32/44
    BOTTOM BRACKET Included w/ crankset
    CASSETTE SRAM PG 980, 11-34
    CHAIN SRAM PC 971
    BRAKES Avid Juicy 7's w/ 185mm front & 160mm rear rotors
    BRAKE LEVERS Avid Juicy 7's
BARS Race Face Deus low riser
    STEM Race Face Deus, 31.8mm
    GRIPS Lizard Skin lock on
    HEADSET Cane Creek S3
    SEAT POST Thompson
    SADDLE WTB Pure V Stealth
WHEELS Mavic XM 321 rims laced to DT 340 hubs w/ DT 14/15 spokes, alloy nipples
    TIRES Kenda Nevegal 2.35 folding
    TUBES Kenda Freeride

In the end he slate silc\ver looks better then the black anodized fram. My LBS had both frames on hand to compare. I am so happy with this bike and the build in general. I am replaceing the headsetr with a Kris King and I may purcase a bar with more sweep. Other then that the build rules.

    diet Nomad

I bet you could make it 29 to 28 pounds easy. A light cross country wheel set and a lighter
    fork etc.
