    LizArd Help

I need help w/ 99 Lizrd build. I'd like to do it up SS for trails.

What size is the seatpost ? BB ?
Do I need to run a wheel tensioner or will a bolt on hub hold the wheel OK ?
Suggestions on a suspension fork ?
Suggestions on gearing for northeast aggresive trail riding ?

    Thanks

    Seatpost should be 27.2

    BB should be 68 x 113

Bolt on axle should not need a tensioner. QR wheels may require a tensioner.

100mm suspension fork for a more XC feel. 130mm for more all around trail bike. Look for a fork that locks out in the extented travel.........Rock Shox/Fox.

Don't know about gearing.....I am in So. Cal.

BB shell is 68mm wide. Spindle length is dependant on chain set fitted. Chameleon has track end drop-outs so no tensioner required - it should come with vertical drop-out/gear hanger adaptors. Gearing - as always best thing is to ride a geared bike on your trails, find the best compromise and replicate the gear inches. Mainly gentle stuff a gear around 52 inches works for most - adapt from there. A QR will work fine if you make sure it is a decent steel one - Shimano are the most reliable.

Fork? I ride rigid but the reply above is spot on I think.
