Mounting brake brackets on Blur LT

Hello, proud new owner of a Blur LT after wearing out my Blur classic. In the process of putting on my rear disc brake adapters and discovered the the bolt holes are recessed into the frame. The allen bolt heads I have are a tad to big to go into the opening. Should I use a washer or should I find the correct bolts with a smaller head? BTW the bolts came with adapters when I originally purchased them. Thanks in advance.

go to the hardware store and get bolts with a smaller head. I have found that cap screws are a tight fit the first time, but work great. If I remember right metric #6 x 1 thread. Be carefull not to get them too long.

Had the same problem with my shimano xt bolts. Avid bolts worked just fine in the shimano brackets on my LT. Your LBS should have a couple extra laying around.

Thx for the responses. I went by Lowes and found some m6x1x20 bolts. They were a tad long so I cut off a little. Worked like a charm and the bolt heads are totally recessed.
