Bro your bikes a large size with a 70mm stem right? how does it ride? whats your height by the way.

Im currently using a medium with a 90mm stem and was wondering if i should go large.

Im 6'1" and the 70 mm stem is the best thing ive done for the handling of the bike. I have always complained about the tt being too short but the 70 mm stem really centered me over the bike and gave me much better balance. I had always run 90 mm before but would not want to go back now.

And mine.....just swapped the 65mm stem for an 80mm and it does climb a lot better out of the saddle. Seriously thinking about swapping to a 140 /150 fork

Anyone able to comment on what the most efficient 2x10 front dérailleur is on a blt2 given the angle the cable pops out??

I'm happy to be joining the BLT club! Took if for it's first ride yesterday and am extremely impressed. Climbs like a goat, great rear wheel traction on the descents, and handles hard jump landings surprisingly well. Overshot a couple landings but the Blur just soaked it up...very satisfied with the purchase!

Weighed 28# on the nose without pedals at the bike shop. Build info:

    --- 2012 Blur LT 2.2 (R AM kit) ---

    Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT 10spd
    Shifters: Shimano XT
    Brakes: 2012 Shimano XT
    Wheelset: Mavic Crosstrail UST
Tires: Spec Purgatory 2.4 front, 2.3 rear (set up tubeless)
    Pedals: Shimano XT Trail
    Stem: Truvativ AKA 70mm
    Handlebars: Easton Haven 711mm

Thanks! I really prefer the Purgatory Control, and they were already mounted up tubeless to my Crosstrails. In addition, I'm building up my old bike to sell with as many new parts as possible.
