    Heckler with a Float R

Ive just got a 2006 pro-pedal Fox Float r rear shock for my Heckler, how does it ride with this? Ive got a Swinger 4-way coil fitted at the moment but am wanting to fit the float for XC epics to lighten her up a bit.

I would send it right in to PUSH. Have them valve it for your weight and add the piston.

I had the 05 float R and I hated it... it bottomed out if I gave it a bounce... not the best AM FR shock... I have an 05 swinger 4-way air and it's much better... but it will work well if your an XC rider...

The Float R give a little harsh ride on the Heckler. I have tried it, and after that a DHX Air on the same bike and the DHX seemed a lot plusher.

For these reasons...I think the 150 bucks you would pay to PUSH would be worth every penny.

    Fox float r

Choosing the right rear shock is dependant on many variables.
Just dial in the correct air pressure on the float R and get out and have fun !
I'm using the RP3 on my Heckler and it suits me just fine.
The float r is is similar to the rp3 in it's mid propedal setting.

Your probably saving a full pound in the switch from the coil.

If you are turning into a weight weenie I say go for it.
