Heckler 27.5'' with components of 26''

Hi, I have a problem... I have just broken my SC Heckler from 2009 and the technical service of SC from my country (Spain) offers me the option to buy the new version... of course with a santa cruz customer price. The SC factory cant serve the piece I needed so Im considering to adquire the new version of this bike but I only can dress the bike with the pieces of the old one.

Some stuff from my heckler to use on the 27.5'' version will be:
    Wheels mavic 26''
    fox 36.

of course I have already the base for the future market. The Worldwide market are focusing us to make use of 27.5'' wheels so I will be upgrated to this future change when my economy permit it to me.

    What do you think?

I hope you can help me.

cheers from the south of spain

p.d- sorry for my non-native English.

It will be almost identical to your old 26" Heckler and will ride fine.

You will need a different headset. The new one is tapered, and an adapter kit for your rear hub(if one is available). Your old frame is 135x10 in the rear and the new one is 142x12. If you know someone in the states you can get a Heckler 6.1 for $550 which will match up to all of your components.

    or...

...you could get one the older sale versions if a S, M or XL will work for you. Super inexpensive too. Then you have no compatibility issues. I would imagine the geometry will be screwy running 26" stuff on a new frame.
the going won't get good 'til I'm good and gone

Or not. Longer chainstays, lower bottom bracket, tapered headtube, and geometry designed for a little bit longer fork. Other than that, yeah, exactly the same.

Ditto to williamj, replace the same frame you have if they have in your size. Then you can get bike back together with all your parts now and upgrade to a WWM 27.5" wheelset later.

I see they only have med in the 6.1 version:

    Santa Cruz Bicycles

S/xl in the 6.2. You can always get a new lower reducer headset cup to fit your 1.125" steer tube fork:

He doesn't have access to that inventory since he's in Spain. Those frames are for US & Canada only.

I just have the idea on my mind to do the upgrating of my bike into 27.5''

Im going to spend some money so I prefer sepend it in something "new", o maybe what I mean is adapted to "new standards" on enduro bikes.

The doub would be: Are there important differences if I use all my components, changing only the rear hub and the headset (because is impossible to use the same, of couse)?

Have you seen any Heckler 27.5'' with components of 26''?

My friends tell me that I can notice 1,5 cms lower the bottom bracker... just that as a important change :/

    thanks for answer
