    Frame protection for SOLO carbon

    1. I see that Frameskins has a kit for the Bronson. Do you think the SOLO frame is close enough that this kit would fit well on the SOLO?

    2. The photo galleries of the Juliana Furtado show a rubber downtube protector, like the one on the Bronson, but the photo galleries of the SOLO don't have this. Is this included on the SOLO carbon frames?

Not sure on 1, but on 2, the downtube protector came with my Solo.

Does the downtube protector attach using the bottle cage screws or some other way?

Some other way. Mine actually covered the holes for the bottle cage screws.

This is what I was talking about regarding the Furtado vs. SOLO photos.

Just got my Solo on Tuesday. Already had three good rides on it. My downtube protector looks like this. Still have to poke holes through it to install the second water bottle cage.Frame protection for SOLO carbon-solo.jpg

Thanks for the photo. Nice bike. Looks like XX1, right?
I'm envious that you got yours. My dealer told me 4 more weeks before SC has the frames available, then probably another week or 2 for it to get built and shipped.

Yeah, XX1. My LBS got a couple of Solos a few weeks ago and I was lucky enough to get one. Still need to decide what wheels and tires to run on it. Running the stock ones for the time being.
