End of year sales on TBc

I'm considering buying a 2013 large carbon Tallboy frame for 1650 total. I've wanted a TB every since I demo'ed one at Santa Cruz demo day last year. My question is..is this deal worth jumping on or will they likely be even cheaper in a month?
Can't wait to get one a spend the winter building it up.

$1650 sounds like a great deal for a TBc v1. I paid 2100 for my large blue TBc back in July from Competitive Cyclist. Didn't want to risk the possibility of the large going out of stock, so I pulled the trigger. They now list it for $1739. The blue is still available in large, but the matt black is only XXL.

I bought it. I got the blue large I wanted for 1650. I couldn't take a chance and wait for better deal to pop up...which is doubtful anyway. I can't wait to get it. I loved the carbon Tallboy every since I rode one at a demo day.
Now I get to spend the next few months deciding on components. Really leaning toward the new XX1 or XO1setup

Congrats!!! I build all my bikes so I know the feeling and anticipation. Enjoy, have fun, and post a pic when it's finished.

Here's mine and I love how it rides!! A 1x10 with Shimano, a Truvativ AKA crank, and 30T Bling ring.

Nice! How much did you end up getting it for from CC? Wish I had known they had a 15% discount code..because their price is already pretty good.

Ha yep I'm doing XX1. The only other part I know for sure Im using are Sun Ringle Black Flag Pro wheels, and Eggbeater pedals. Not sure on fork or other parts yet.
I'll also be covering the frame with Invisiframe 3m before starting assembly

Free headset install, nice!! Like I mentioned above, I purchased mine back in July because I didn't want to miss out on a large blue. Glad you got yours. Post a pic when you finish the build.

The wheels are Light Bicycle carbon rims from China, also known as Nancy rims. There's a long thread in the 29er Component Forum. They're laced to DT Swiss 350 hubs.

Your bike looks awesome, gdtrfb24! I wanted a large blue but waited too long. Those frames were a smoking deal at $1739.

Thanks. If you're looking for a Blue Large, check with broeli. Scsigoer and I purchased from Competitive Cyclist, I believe broeli purchased from somewhere else.

Unfortunately the larges are all sold.

I'm thinking of buying a Rockskox Sid RCT3 120 maxlelite15 fork for 615. Anyone know of it cheaper anywhere? Seems like a great price.

Sounds like a good deal considering its less than MSRP and its a relatively new product on the market.

Are you buying it from a reputable source?

Nice fork though! i like the all black look.
