    Bronson....X Fusion O2 RCX??

Anyone run one of these on their Bronson? About to build up a new carbon Bronson and will be replacing the standard Fox Float CTD (non Kashima).

I like the idea of being able to get the X Fusion direct from the company custom tuned for the Bronson and me and riding style. Can't seem to find too much about this shock that is very recent.

    What say ye?

The other shock I am considering is the 2014 RS Monarch Plus custom tuned from Suspension Experts…

    Anyone? Anyone? Bueller….?

I say go for it. The more I read about Xfusion, the more I'm into them.

    Proven durability/reliability for their dampers
    Custom factory tuning
Good ease of service and plenty of info on their website...
Damn near half the cost of Fox

I just bought a Sweep b/c I just couldn't believe that a $1000 Pike would change my life vs. a $550 Sweep. (Especially when they rank very, very similar in every review I've read).

They've done extensive testing with their O2 RCX on the Bronson (they're just up the road in Santa Cruz actually). In fact that's what they ride for their personal bikes. I wouldn't hesitate. They tuned a Vector Air DH for my Bronson and I'd like to see any air shock come even remotely close to it's performance. They said the O2 has similar damping characteristics but not as much oil volume so it's better for XC/AM because of less weight. The Vector will fade less for extended DH runs which is why I went that route instead as I'll use my bike for park use too.

    Have FUN!

One of the "really fast" guys around here on a Bronson runs that shock and really likes it on the Bronson. The low air volume and increased progressiveness should work well with the Bronson's shock ratio.

That being said, I have a CCDB CS, and would recommend it as well. For someone that does a lot of freeride and DH, I like having control over the high speed and low-speed circuits
