The tire clearance below the seatstay bridge/brace on my mates new Blur XC is extremely limited, does anyone know if SC are going to change the seatstay design to allow more clearance for taller tires and muddy conditions?
His new Maxxis Larsen 2.0 rubbed on the seatstay brace at about 35psi, had to wear down the centre knobs first before the rub went away...
If there is a new seatstay design in the pipeline will SC swop out older seatstays to make the change less expensive?
Just seems like a design oversight as big volume tall tires are becoming more popular.
Enduro races often end up as mudfests as well.
I searched this topic but could not find any answers.
If SC is NOT planning to change the design then what big volume race tires do fit?
I guess the Blur XC was designed and tested in a dry climate.
Any help will be appreciated!
