Wow! Impressive weight with trail pedals, 2x setup, dropper post with HD tires @ 25.5 lbs is very good!

Great find Zauberer, I've now got these on mine too, very impressed, quick delivery from France to the UK as well.
Saved my down tube from a number of rock strikes at the weekend.

Drilling holes to bolt it to the bottle cage mounts is much better than using the plastic ties provided.

    Blur TRc pictures

    Latest incarnation:
Switched to XT trail pedals. Tired of replacing shredded needle bearings on my Candy 3's.

2.35 NN front, 2.25 NN rear

Fox DOSS 5" dropper - needed to have the Command Post Blacklite warrantied for the second time and wanted something new. I was going to get a GD Turbo (primarily for reliability), but couldn't fit their 5" dropper due to the large frame and my short legs. The DOSS barely works, it as low as it can go. Only one ride on the new post and it feels REALLY nice so far.

Nice! How is the clearance with 2.25 NN in the back? You had 2.35 NeoMoto front and back before right? The 2.25 NN is narrower? How about diamater? NN is smaller too?

Yeah, I was running 2.35 NM F/R before.

There is more clearance with the 2.25 NN both in between the chainstays and in front of the tire. Didn't measure so just by eye.

So before the hype re new bikes, new Rockshox forks, new XC dropper posts and the like become a reality, I thought Id share some pictures of my bike in its latest guise, as of the last 6 months actually. Before I am totally obsolete.

To work with the CCDBa I have added a Lyric, solo air with mission control. I have set it at 130mm travel, and that seems to have slacked the bike out to less than 67⁰ now. It sure does feel very nice on the steeps and at speed.

There is a small loss of small bump compliance; more noticeable at slower speeds and only noticeable at slow speed, once the speed is up it is very sweet indeed. It entices more speed...

The best way to sum it up is that the bike is just so very composed. And, you can get very aggressive and it maintains an impressive level of composure that is just confidence inspiring and I am sure takes the bike into territory that a 5 travel bike has no right in ruling. I love riding it.

And to repeat what I have said before, the technical climbing is amazing with the rear shock, there is just so much grip, it is a supple grip when tech climbing. I have cleared some pretty rocky and rooty climbs while my mates unclip and I to would have done so previously.

The bike is a rewarding challenge both up and down. And its all about the ride, or how rewarding the ride is in the end. For me, its the bees knees.

    Happy riding guys.

You hit the jackpot on thar build - I'm on a blur XCc, 1st gen without tapered head tube, so I'm limited in forks an rear shocks - but if I wasn't I would have mimicked that build on a slightly smaller scale. Insted am Rocking afox 831 and the stock rp23.

I'm envious of that frame/fork combo! Enjoy it!
PM me for a great price on a pike 150 27.5 as new condition, barely seen dirt!

Nice rig H20-50 , do you use the 110 on your talas, I have a 150-120 and haven't reduced to 120 yet. Only had three rides though and still dialling in.

Cant say that I have. Iv'e put around 100miles on it so far and still trying to figure out the suspension. I'm more of an aggressive rider and hit anything on the trail so Im trying to find a happy medium for taking hits and still trail riding comfortably. Loving the frame but it does take some getting used to. Im used to standing and riding (bmx racing background) so my ass never touches the seat but this bike just plain handles!

I took my TRc to Lee Quarry yesterday (small UK trail centre), the place is full of berms and jumps. I've read that everyone says the TRc is hilariously fun at cornering; but until yesterday I'd only ridden mine on natural trails, yesterday I was amazed at how easy the TRc is to lean over in berms, I think I'm pretty good at cornering but how thing this is in berms is like something else! It's as though you get to a point where you think you can't corner any faster and the thing just pivots, feels a bit like playing Wipeout

When drilling these frames for internal cable routing for a dropper post, where is the best place to place the hole?

You might have to wait quite a while then.
Take a look at the SC site. They just updated the colors on the trcs.
    White and matte black.
In my opinion the sleekest and nicest paints SC currently offers.

    Very, very nice IMHO.

    Greetings Znarf

Very nice build , I 'd be interested to see the pictures of the heli tape as I have just used duck tape for the moment until I decide on frame protection.

So am I and at the moment it is feeling quite a hard ride, but I keep killing my section times on Strava so am not too bothered. The word "handles" is something you will see everywhere in this thread, lot of happy bunnies here!

Might be a bit of a pain, but I have just put in a Colorado post code to check delivery cost and it is 25 euros, which is about 33 dollars. Twin pack is 89 dollars, url for the pack is PACK BLUR TR CARBON 2011-2013 - Leoseven
