Blur seat post shim (30.9mm OD) Anyone make one?

I'm looking for a seat post shim with an OD of 30.9mm so I can continue to use my RaceFace post with a 27.2mm OD.

Does anyone make a 30.9mm to 27.2mm seat post shim?

USE makes them. USE is a UK company, so I'm not sure the best (i.e. cheapest) place to get them in North America.

I see that Excel Sports lists them on their website:

    http://www.excelsports.com/new.asp?p...vendorCode=USE

Cambria also has them on their website, but they only list the 25mm ID version. USE also makes a 27.2 ID version, so you might give Cambria a call and see if they can get it.

Otherwise, you can order them from several different UK websites:

Problem Solvers also makes a shim...

I stumbled across these when I was looking for something else. It looks like Problem Solvers also has a 30.9 to 27.2 mm seat post shim, and it's a bit cheaper than the USE shim. Bikeman has them on their website:

    http://www.bikeman.com/miva/merchant...Code=COMPSPSHM

Also, it is worth noting that Bikeman sells the 30.9mm Thomson post for $59.95, so that might be an option as well.

Thanks! That looks like what I was looking for.

I just couldn't recall the manufacturers name, which makes searching difficult.

For $7.95 that's a bargain, but I already got mine though. Ordered the USE one (27.2mm to 30.9mm) which is made of thermoplastic and in black for $12.00 w/free shipping from speedgoat. But, I really like the USE shim being made of plastic, makes it easier to use without excessive grease on the post. They are durable too, have one on another bike for 4 years.
