I'm looking at getting a Blur LT and it looks like I'm between a medium and a large frame. I'm 5'10" and 175 lbs. Can someone with a similar height chime in and let me know what size frame your riding...
I was thinking of the medium as it will be a little bit lighter, but don't want a frame that is on the small size...
I'm 5'10.5 and have a medium w/ a 70mm stem and it feels perfect for what I use it for (XC and some AM). If you are doing strictly XC then a large might feel a little better imo.
Ideally, you should demo ride each size. I suspect the large will feel closer to what you think you want since the LT's have a tight cockpit. Look at the initial posts on the LT2 where people thought the top tube length needed lengthened. By now, most of us have realized the benefits of this design.
I'm 6'1 tall I have a BLUR LTC Large ,in the first rides it was looking like a too small to me,I change stem fro, 70mm to 90 then turns to foward position to face steep descend tracks I just got the fine position when I have put some spacer(20 mm) and up lift the handlebar i returned to 70 mm it is now pretty good:thumbsup:
I'm 5'10 ~170 fully geared up. I rode both a medium and large Blur and in the end the medium was a far superior fit and I am extremely happy with my decision. The large felt very unwieldy . . .
P.S. I ride with a 70mm stem and the balance is perfect (for me anyway). Excellent, precise steering.
I am 5' 11" with a 31.5" inseam and ride a large LTc. I had a Medium LT2 and it was just to small. Cockpit was small even with a layback post and a 90cm stem it was just to small.
5'11", 33" inseam, 175lbs. On a large LT with Thomson Elite 110mm stem and setback seatpost. Ya can't get me enough cockpit. I can't imagine being on a Med, even with long stem and setback seatpost.
5'10.5" 31" inseam. I swapped out both the 110mm Thompson and Fox 140 RLC for the Talas 150 with a 65mm 10 degree rise stem. I feel very dialed in with this set up. I recently demo'd a medium Nomad and definitely felt I was positioned too far forward.
5'10" with 31" inseam. I ride a large LT1 and it feels just right for me. I'm running a fairly long stem (~100mm) too. Just my preference. I just swapped out my old 2004 125mm Talas for the new 150mm and that really dialed the bike in nicely.
