    Blur LT Bearing Issues

I've had my Blur LT for almost 2 years now and I'm noticing some play when I shake the rear tire from side to side in the VPP bearing area.

The larger, lower down bearings are nice and tight, but the smaller, upper onces I tighten them on each side with 2 allen keys and they still spin.

Does this mean my bearings are shot? I heard that new VPP bikes come with lifetime replacement of bearings...think I can get this with my bike?

    Thanks for the help guys

    Go direct to Santa Cruz

Rather than ask a consumer forum, try getting in touch with Santa Cruz. Tim Field is the CS rep and he has always answered my e-mails within about 24 hours.

But just my 2 cents: After 2 years, it would be my guess you could use a pro-pack which includes all the bearings, hardware and proper loc-tite. You may want to check the shock bushings/spacers as well.
