    Blur classic owners

    Need a new shock? http://www.santacruzbicycles.com/catalog/
has the float r on clearance. It says its for the blur xc but it fits the classic perfect and its way better than my 4 year old 5th. I wonder what else on the xc fits the classic? New vpp link??

be aware that this is the high-volume shock if I'm not mistaken. This may or may not be what you want... and I'm guessing not.

I bought a RP3 from Push, custom tuned for the Classic. I would consider picking up a used or discounted shock and having Push tune it for the Classic and your weight.

The 5th is still a good high performance cross country shock but the Fox adds a level of plushness and with ProPedal off, you can get better technical climbing traction.
The Fox needs fewer rebuilds, as my 5th needed to be sent off @every 10 months, usually cold weather "stuck down".

2 months of riding and still way better than my 5th. $99 is hard to beat.

I have the RP23 on mine, and I absolutely love it. It can be set up to be nice and plush, with a quick flip, it can ride as stiff as a hardtail.

Now I just need to continue working on the motor.
