    Action Pics/Video

Too many pictures of our "All Mountain" bikes leaning against posts and flagpoles. Let's see some action shots. I've done some bigger drops recently, and have video but no pictures. Let's see what you got!

I'm on a stock Bronson build with a few tweaks to the cockpit and a Works Angleset.

Nothing too epic...just cruising around the coastal BC forest where I live...

I'm too old to get hurt...

Glad I have a great bike that keeps me rubber side down!

    Safe riding,

those pics are from the Barton Creek Greenbelt in Austin. if youre familiar with some of the back-trails there, these drops are somewhere up above what is known as the sand-pit. not really part of the trail per se, but just part of a section with a lot of ledges you can ride and session a bunch for fun

They feel big and slo-mo when you hit them, OK??? Riding the new Bantam:

You have no excuse for driving to work
(unless you don't have studded tires)
    (no excuse for that either)

OK I'll jump in, but you won't see the Bronson in my flick because I'm on it.
The more I ride the bike, the more I like it.

When you hit share video on a youtube page it gives you an option to share an embedded code. Copy and paste that into the MTBR thread and bam! Done and done.

Great photos guys! I am super jealous. I only started riding like 5-6 weeks ago and have only been riding alone so super hard to take photos of myself....lol I did setup my phone for a video of what I thought was a cool drop. I felt like superman coming off it and landing, but the video made it look like dropping of a curb..... so disappointing. Anyways, keep them coming as I love the stoke factor!

I've posted this one before in other threads. Only action shot I have so far. I'm new to mountain biking; I sold my KTM dirt bike to fund the Bronson.

I think my pedal position should be reversed. The way I have my feet now, I'm just asking to dig those into the ground on a turn.

yea, you want your outside foot closer to the ground, with most of your weight on the outside foot. This lowers your center of gravity and helps the tires dig into the ground more, giving you more traction. plus you wont hit your inside foot on the ground

Coming from dirt bikes, I'm not used to worrying about where my feet are positioned. I've actually found this to be the biggest challenge to adapt to mountain bike riding. Pedal position in corners and trying to avoid pedal strikes while climbing.

yea i bet. i remember when i first started riding, and my buddy kept telling me to look ahead to make sure that when I was climbing over something rocky/technical, that my pedal on the rocky side was on the high pedal position. I thought "how the hell am i supposed to do that on the fly?"

but after a few years, it starts becoming second nature in how you time when to pedal, sometimes when to backpedal, and sometimes when to just do a quick half-pedal to get momentum and just push the bike up. i dont even think about it anymore.
