350X2.75 spring on a Nomad Roco 2.5in stroke?

    Hi,
I'm looking for a 400lb spring for my Nomad, which runs a 2.5in stroke Roco shock, but my local LBS only stocks a 350 X 2.75 spring. Can I use that instead...and what are the repercussions...will it even fit physically? Since there is only 0.25in difference, I was thinking it should be ok, right?
Does 2 turns on the spring will equal to about +50lb on the spring?

Thanks in advance for chiming in.

2.75's usually fit on a 2.5 shock, but just measure it and the shock to be sure. If it's too long you won't be able to move the collar back far enough to get it on there.

The 350 may be wrong though. You can change sag with preload, but not the stiffness of the spring. BTW, I think there are 20 threads per inch so 2 turns would be 35 lbs of preload.
