It looks like alloy only for 2015, but it's a great time to buy for any really tall people out there.

Just picked up a 2014 for 1300. Wanted the matte black and the 12x142mm rear.

There is still a carbon option on the site with different builds. Maybe the colors are the same now for both alloy and carbon? Looks like they changed the post to 27.2 and tweaked the geometry a little.

Wanted to bump this up. Any ideas of what's coming for Highball C for FY15? I can only find pictures of the alu and see the geo has changed for alu in 15. Hoping this means some tweaks?

Where did you buy it? My lbs is offering me a 2014 Carbon X01 with Fox Kashima for $3650. Good buy?

They carbon frames are not in the US yet, but they are coming. I assume once they arrive they will update the site. I was told they were coming in this fall, could be as late as November.

    2015 Carbon Highball

I had asked a local shop about al availability a few weeks ago and was told they were ready to ship. Ended up going a different way so can't confirm if that was indeed the case. Element cycles in Redmond WA if anyone wants to try them.

Buddy just asked SC about it (He's waiting to pull the trigger on one) and they said Feb.

Here's to hoping that they add the swinging dropouts for SS on the carbon frame.
I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,
The carbon is way more durable than most people.

    Wish list
Internal cable routing from new nomad
    Stealth dropper routing
    Geo mirroring 15 aluminum model
Would be awesome if they did some crazy color like the tennis ball yellow
    SS would be nice

I am seriously considering a Carbon C Highball. Having found none available in the size I require, I called Santa Cruz directly. A day later I got a call back from a very nice man named Tyler. He said the 2015 is about one month out from being released to the public and that it is a completely new frame. He wouldn't discuss any of the details to which I replied SC really should consider releasing the specs ASAP along with photos. People might grow restless and consider other possibilities.

Which is exactly what they are going to do in about a month.

Loving that the the XXL size gets EVEN XXLer (I am 6'6") but as a non racer boy that tiny head tube on a comparatively huge frame could use an inch. I'd rather have head tube instead of stem spacers, but I get the intent.

    2015 Carbon Highball

Looks like I'll be on a Scott or Cannondale. Companies that offer modern geo for XC racing bikes. So long, SC. Your FS bikes are rad, but you XC HTs need work.
