seems unlikely. superlight is SC's budget XC bike. makes little sense to do a budget bike in carbon...

lighter, simpler, more elegant is what it would be. keep the original going faster, better.

    doesn't exist
I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,
The carbon is way more durable than most people.

well, seeing as how its SC's cheapest full suspension bike, Id say that the company sees it as a budget bike. theyre not going to cannibalize Tallboy or TallboyC sales by offering an expensive version of an inherently budget bike. its pretty basic marketing

This is exactly the bike that I want..and would pay "non-budget" price for. Just too bad we are a minority

Exactly. And also why the Nickel and Butcher were axed.
I cannot think off the top of my head of a 'simple' SP carbon bike. If you want the performance advantage of carbon, it only makes sense to have a high performance suspension design too.
I know the VPP, esp. the latest version, is superior to the single pivot APP on my Nickel. But I replaced the BLT2 I had with the Nickel, because the geometry fit better...and I like simple machines.

I agree too. Simple and efficient. Would it really it cut into profit that much if was more affordable and SC had higher sale volume.....

broken record here. simpler, lighter, faster, better, cheaper. with the way shocks are valved, single pivot is just as good. never was a fan of vpp. rides kinda weird. stiff high till it sinks soft. then there's all those weird knuckles, grease ports, blah blah.....
