    2012 trc spx value?

Ok, so I am going to the dark side. Selling my 2012 blur trc for a stumpjumper fsr 29. My bike is in excellent shape and had the spx build. All stock. Xt components with the 32 fit kashima fork. It sold for 5500 two years back. What can I expect to get for it? It's a size large which is good. I currently have it listed at 3200 with no activity on various sites, pinkbike, Craigslist, etc. I am temped to try and throw some old juicy brakes, cheap cranks and x7 drivetrain and list it for a little over 2k because it seems to be easier to move bikes in that price range. Any input from you guys? It seems to be hard to move 26" trail bikes with all hype over 650b, lol

It is going to be very hard to move your TRc at any kind of price that will make you happy, especially with it being the QR rear end model. It could sell, but it will be at a price that wouldn't even be worth selling it. Lucky for me, I love my TRc and think it is the best bike ever and would never sell it, but I know that my 2013 wouldn't get the kind of return to make it worth selling. My advice would be to either try and fall in love with it again, cause it is an amazing bike, or convert it to 650b and ride it that way.

That's what I am fearing, i am tossing the idea around of the 650b conversion. I just don't know how much I wanna dump into the bike. How do these bikes ride with the 650 wheels?

I sold a similar one for $3K earlier this year, but mine had some upgrades. Mostly XT drivetrain and brakes, but XO crankset, 650b Arch EX wheels with Schwalbe NN tires, Easton carbon bars, Thomson stem and seatpost.

Try asking $2800 for the bike. Or strip it and sell the parts separately. SC had that frameset on closeout for about $1500, so a used one might be worth $1000 - $1200.

The TRc rides awesome with 650b wheels.
