What kind of Salsa did Santa bring you?

Santa dropped off my Salsa SpXXrfish 1. Did anyone else get any Salsa over the holidays?

I'm very pleased with the build but the jury is still out on the ride since the weather hasn't permitted any true tests. The only thing I really didn't like about it so far is the cable routing and having to use full cable housings. Internal cable housing would have made for a really clean look.

Mine came in early December. Finished the build last week. Due to rain the first rides were postponed until this week. But it is already a blast. Came in right at 23 lbs. First pic is before swapping over final parts (hence the platforms and road saddle). Other pic is the El Mar in its natural habitat

If you can afford it, just go Ti... I'll definitely be posting a Collosal build once it's done... Gonna be pretty mind blowing I think

It's not necessarily a money issue, but if I went steel I would buy an ultra light wheelset for it since it's on the heavier side. Whereas if I go ti, I'd probably leave it all stock. Actually if I went ti, I'd probably end up getting the same ultra light wheelset and THEN it would be a $ problem

I had a steel Fargo for a long time, and have had my Ti Fargo for nearly two years now... It's definitely worth the extra coin for the Ti... You can always hit it with that bling wheelset later on. Gotta have something to look forward to right...

On the wheelset front, I'm just gonna run a complete Crest wheelset for now. Until King release their R45 disc hubs, then it's getting those with some Enve...
