    Spearfish b9er

I'm thinking of turning my "Fish" into a b9er. I love the bike in general but it feels a little tippy sometimes compared to an equivalent 26er, and for sure it is not as confidence inspiring in the fast downhill switchbacks. I am thinking the 650b rear wheel will give me back a small bit of the flickability without sacrificing too much in the way of pedal strikes or roll over. by my eyeball calculation I will lose 9mm of BB height, as far as the fork angle goes I can just run a little less pressure up front and lower the ride height a smidge. With this setup I will still have 1" more bb height than my rigid hardtail 29er, which i rarely pedal strike. it should also look *****in!

Try it now by lowering pressure in the shock - if you drop all 80mm of travel, that's about double the difference in wheel size.

I guess I could try that but it wouldn't ride right, I'm sure it would wallow pretty bad.

Obviously, but you'd get an idea for the geo.
