Sizing question - Large El Santo to El Mariachi?

I've decided that it's time for a new bike and want to build up a 2014 El Mariachi frame for single track/gravel road riding.

I'm currently riding a large El Santo with a straight seatpost and a 100 mm stem and it's very comfy. I test rode a complete, large El Mariachi on the weekend and it felt good but maybe a smidge too long. It wasn't a comprehensive test -- I just rode it around the parking lot -- but it was stable and very controllable.

Should I stick with a size large frame or go down to a medium? I'm 5'11" with a 32" in-seam, so pretty average in height. Thanks!

Sizing question - Large El Santo to El Mariachi?

I'd stick with the large, especially given you want to use for gravel too. I'm 6'0 w/32" inseam and ride a large. Have it set up with a 100mm Thompson stem, flipped negative with a jones loop bar, and rigid carbon fork. I'm also running a laid back Thompson seatpost. XL felt too big for me.
