    Sizing Horsethief frame (6'2")

I'm trying to figure out if I should order a L or XL 2014 Horsethief frame. From my first "MTB" comfort bike to 2006 Giant XtC to my current 29er (GT Karakoram), I've always ridden a Large, but that's been for stand over height on HT frames.

My neighbor bought the same Karakoram that I currently ride in XL, and it feels great to ride, but it's not what I'd want to be riding when things get sketchy and I try to put both feet down.

I've heard the 2014 Horsethief runs a little small, and that I might want to consider an XL. There's no local dealer I can go to that's stocking either, so I'm looking for advice from people who might have a better idea of what frame will fit me best.

Ive been riding XLs for years as I was 6'4". I was in an accident almost 2 years ago and lost 2" down to 6'2" now, but I still ride XLs. All of the fitting numbers say L, but when Im riding, even the people that say L according to those numbers, agree that the XLs fit me better, so it depends on more than height. I'm 6'2", 210# and ride a 2014 HT1 XL. I test rode different size HT's and Spearfish's last fall before making my decision and the XL was definitely the way to go for me.

6'3" 185# riding an XL Horsethief 1. I need to get a seatpost with some offset (20-25mm) to get my knees in the right place since I have the seat jammed all the way back and I'm still not quite there. Then will probably go for a shorter stem than the 90mm it came with. I'm glad I got the XL.

I'm 6'7" with long legs (39" inseam I think). I'd love a Horsethief but I think the 2014s might be too small for me. Anybody near my height have an opinion on that?

Those riders at my height, 5' 8.5, what sizes did you choose? Has it been a good decision?
