    PRO SCANDIUM S.U.L. STEM and clothes.

    Did Salsa stop making this stem? It's in the archive section but not part of their current components line.
    Also has anyone tried the new team jerseys, vests or bib shorts? Can you compare them to Pearl Izumi, Louis Garneau, Sugoi, Assos, etc? Does the vest have pockets on the back?

    They look nice.

    The ProMoto Scandium stem is no longer in production. That said, we do have a new model stem in production now due sometime in March. There are two versions, the ProMoto and the ProMoto Ti. We showed prototypes at IB viewable HERE. Look for final graphic versions and more details closer to the arrival date.

    I won't comment on the clothing comparison question, but I will tell you the vest does not have pockets on the back.

    Info is live on QBP.COM (for bike dealers). Pic coming soon.

    ProMoto Ti = $90 MSRP
    ProMoto = $50 MSRP

    The two stems have similar appearance and forging, but the ProMoto Ti has more after forging CNC work, Ti hardware and a higher quality finish.

    pretty. Aluminum or magic metals?

    Ti is for Ti hardware only correct? I need to replace a 10 year old KORE stem on my El M. That looks like it would pimp properly.
    Try this: HTFU

    I have last years Salsa team 'kit' and it nice stuff. I would say that it is as a good value for the $. Mine has gone through the wash regularly, always hung to dry and is holding up quite well.

    The ProMoto Ti is not titanium. It uses the same forging as the lower price ProMoto but will has additional CNC work, a higher quality finish and titanium bolts.

    Is there any online shops that sell the more obscure salsa clothing? Very hard to find in Aus and very expensive. I know about smartbikeparts.com but they don't have much at the moment.

    May be a good replacement for those with recalled cromotos. Now if we can only get salsa to paint them to match our frames. Its pretty sad to see what used to be a Salsa Cycles standard for their completes gone. My El Mariachi will never be the same.

    Looks nice. I like the plain old black color.
