My original intention was to keep it pretty stock but then I swaped the rigid for a Reba, got me a Thomson stem, Noir Team bars, recycled a King headset from a bike I don't ride, and scored a sweet deal on the only pair(that I know of) American Classic wheels with custom green rims and stole the Elixr CRs of my squishy bike that is now getting neglected.

My poor full suspension bike has only seen 2 rides since I got this bad boy. I love this bike!

Nice looking bikes, I like the green wheels Sean. I have been looking to build up another
HT as soon as I sell my FS frame. I am now 100% sure it's going to be the blue El Mariachi.

The MRP guide is great - it just works. Chain never falls off.

I got the frame yesterday and I got a few miles on it today (gravel road ride, wating on the snow to go!) I also have the Mamasita, the bikes are 20" they are set-up all most the same
Sram/Rock Shox, the Mamas got the xo and the El Mar has x7shifters & x9 rd xt fd 2x9
Stans 355.. I have been useing a 90mm stem on the Mamasita and it's been fine, but Thought I would try a 100mm stem with the El Mar I'm not sure witch one I like best yet,
Also the Mamasita fork is set at 80mm and the El mar is at 100mm so I did feel the height
    difference..

First picture was after I just brought it home.....before I even had 1 mile on it I switched it out to a single speed, added a Chris King headset in green and Salsa seat clamp and skewers also in green.

    Very nice!

Any more love for the El Mariachi? I'd love to see more pics while I wait for mine to arrive.

    My New El Mariachi

Love my new El Mar! Got my first ride in this past weekend in Decorah, IA. Big thanks to Ben at Milltown Cycles in Faribault, MN for helping me with the build!

Man, never should have sold my 2007 El Mar, what a great frame (famous first and last words). Love my new Spearfish, but the cannon 1fg that replaced the El Mar ss isn't cutting it. Looks like the fish will have a more suitable ss companion soon, I'm digging the new El Mar frame!

What a ride! Coming from Yeti 575. Light, stiff, rolls over everything. The most amazing thing it is sooo stable at low speeds.

Finally! I can participate in this thread, with all the other lovelies

Just brought her home an hour ago - we haven't been out to play on the trails yet. I'm already in love. *swoon*

Full size pictures to come later - I snuck this one in while the mechanic was tinkering with the oil reservoir in the shock.
