Quick (and possibly dense) question for the assembled panel: Can you run full length gear cable outers on a El Mar?

On the 3, yes. See pictures below:

I have an original with cable stops under the downtube, so I cannot. But who needs gears?

Yes you can. That's how my '13 complete arrived. It takes about 10 minutes to go from ss to gears or vice versa.

Yeah, great tires and I'm very pleased with the look. It's almost as if they were made with this bike in mind

I don't think so. There are "tubeless ready" versions of the Ardent but these aren't marked as such

Thanks - if I can't have tubeless skinwalls, I think I'll stick with Mountain Kings.

Had my El Mar 2 since August and have just over 300 miles on her. Here is a shot of the beginning of Bussey Point in GA, a five mile point that goes out into Lake Thurman, along the GA/SC border.

and after 5 miles of gated forest service road. Only way here is boat, hike, horse, or bike.

    Hey 家ndyA,
What fork is that? Considering going rigid and looking for options. The color matches nicely with the frame, great looking bike.

    Thanks!

It's a Soul Cycles Dillinger steel fork. Brushed Raw finish, 485 a-c, but with standard 9mm dropouts. New versions with 15mm/Maxle? dropouts are in the works according to Soul Cycles. Unfortunately they're not available yet.

    Thanks for the comment!

My 2013 El Mariachi SS with Niner carbon fork. I love this bike. I have not been on my other bikes since this one arrived. My first ride on the Niner fork will hopefully be this weekend.

2013 El Mar 3. Going 1x10 this weekend. Also waiting for lock on grips and a Tower Pro to arrive. Giving my wife the tower expert. I cannot wait to break it in.
