Looking to buy either a complete 2012 El Mar 3 19" or frameset 19" in the Jungle Fever Green. PM me if anyone has one they'd like to part with.

I would've guess x-small, as the top tube and seat stay meet at an almost inverted angle. Curious now!

the Hopes are very nice, I have the Easton Havon's on my El Mar, I like em, if the hubs ever crap out I'll do Hopes or CK's.

Today was the first ride on them, they engage really nice.
I think the color scheme came out nice, white rims, gold hubs, white spokes, gold nipples.
I have some more gold on the way to tie it all in.
Gold Hope seat clamp, crank bolts, Disc bolts, riser spacers, and cable clamps.

Love that color scheme of the limited El Mar SS. Just wish they had a frame/fork option.

my el mariachi ... although currently it is relegated to commuter duties, have upgraded some of the running gear and has schwalbe big apples ...

thinking of turning it into a singlespeed with drop bars ... is this a suitable frame to add drop bars to? have had a bit of a 'google look', but can't see too many drop bar el mariachis ... otherwise i'll have to very reluctantly consider letting this one go and get a singular gryphon frame ...

Compare a Fargo and El Mar, in medium.

Fargo is 12MM shorter in ETT, 40mm shorter in reach, 40mm higher stack. With drop bars, I'm thinking you'd need a pretty short stem...if it was doable.

I just turned my El Mar from ss to 1x9 winter bike with On-One midge bars + 40mm stem. A short test ride showed positive results For the moment we have -16C and that's a bit too much for my a*s so further testing has to wait.

i used an older pic when it had most of the components off the gt peace 9r multi, tyres are wtb exiwolf 2.1 ...
it now has commuting wheels with 29x2.0 big apples on it, plus an xt crank, x.9 shifter and rear deraileur, specialised henge saddle ...
