I really want a dos niner.

I can't find one anywhere though... If anyone comes across a large frame in decent condition and not so expensive that I have to sacrifice my firstborn, I'd be interested.

    Thanks in advance.

I saw an orange dos niner on ebay this morning, but I think it was an XL.

I think somewhere in the neighborhood of $600-$700 depending on condition/auxilliary components is reasonable...

Too bad you are looking for a large.I am thinking about selling my medium that has one year on it. I picked it up in 2009 but then got a Siren Song 29 and don't ride the Dos anymore.

6 foot even but PM me if you are interested. I don't want to end up getting this thread locked because it can be construed as advertising.

I know of one in a bike shop where I live

Call Chain Gang Bike shop in Redding, California. They had a Brand new one a little while back.

    Here is my medium

Frame with CK pewter headset and XTR front D. A couple small scratches but no marring as the frame has been covered in XPel in the normal rock chip areas and the drive side chain stay and rear shock have always had protectors on them.

Congrats on finding one!!! Enjoy it while you've got it.

I've used mine a lot more this year than I thought I was going to use it (considering the FS bikes I have). I even won a state championship on it....

    Racing Ralph 2.25's front/rear..

    P1010002

My favorite combo on the Dos - Racing Ralph 2.4 up front and 2.25 in the rear...

    P1010006

    Dos on...

I really miss mine! It was a really fun ride. But, the replacement Spearfish and I am getting along fairly well. Although, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another soft-tail design!

Good looking bikes, I've got my eye out for one too.

Does anyone know what a LG frame weights?

The silver frames were beefed up a bit from the older Very Verde Green frames. No idea what a size L frame weighs, but I bet it would be pretty darn close to what my size XL frame weighs. My XL frame is 1980g (4.365 pounds).

My M silver Dos Niner just became available as of an hour ago.

It's well ridden with lots of nicks, chain slap/suck, and rubs. Cosmetically the bike is OK, but functionally it's perfect. Frame includes gold King headset and Thomson seatpost. Haven't had the time to post an ad or list on eBay, but would ask $500 + shipping. PM me if interested or look for the upcoming ad.
