    I Need a little help.

I have two Salsa bikes right now a Spearfish and a 2010 Mamasita. I have been selling the parts to help fund buying a Mukluk2. I have sentimental value of this Mamasita so I'm keeping the frame and it's been banged around a bit so I am not going to get anything for it and I have the thought of building it up as a gravel road bike with a Jones type handlebar with gripshift. (1)What I'm thinking in my head is getting some Stan's 700c cx disc wheels would they work on the Mamasita? with bb7's or the cx type bb5's brakes.

    (2) Could I also run a carbon disc cx fork with the Mamasitas geometry.

Is there someone who could please help me out with this I would sure be grateful Thanks.

No real reason to get cross wheels. Most any 29er wheels should work depending on tire size. But if you prefer the Iorn Crosses than by all means.

While you could mount up a cx fork its gonna make the bike super steep and thus it will handle like poo. A better choice would be one of the many ridged 29er forks that are currently available.
