    Firestarter steel fork?

Anyone riding the Firestarter steel 29er fork? Wondering if it's overly stiff or not.

Assuming this is what came on my brown 2012/2013 Fargo, I can compare it to an OnOne carbon fork with aluminium steerer and crown and confirm that it is noticeably smoother.

I've got it on my 2014 el Mar with a Dually/Knard front wheel. Its super smooth compared to the surly forks I had before. A friend has one as well, and he said its as smooth as a niner carbon

Interesting. I've ridden a couple of carbon forks, and they're good at filtering out low-amplitude/high-frequency chatter. Steel forks do that, too, but good steel forks also seem better at handling higher-amplitude bumps (albeit at a weight penalty).
