fargo down tube bend

what is the reason for the bend on the down tube on the ti version and not the steel.Sorry if this has been discussed before

Since the Ti bikes use a much larger diameter down tube, I would say the bend is there to make clearance for a suspension fork crown/knobs etc...

Yes, Scott is right. That, and Ti doesn't do so well with gussets, so we use none of them on Ti, and manipulate the tubes more.
