Looking to buy either a complete 2012 El Mar 3 19" or frameset 19" in the Jungle Fever Green. PM me if anyone has one they'd like to part with.

I would've guess x-small, as the top tube and seat stay meet at an almost inverted angle. Curious now!

the Hopes are very nice, I have the Easton Havon's on my El Mar, I like em, if the hubs ever crap out I'll do Hopes or CK's.

Today was the first ride on them, they engage really nice.
I think the color scheme came out nice, white rims, gold hubs, white spokes, gold nipples.
I have some more gold on the way to tie it all in.
Gold Hope seat clamp, crank bolts, Disc bolts, riser spacers, and cable clamps.

Love that color scheme of the limited El Mar SS. Just wish they had a frame/fork option.

my el mariachi ... although currently it is relegated to commuter duties, have upgraded some of the running gear and has schwalbe big apples ...

thinking of turning it into a singlespeed with drop bars ... is this a suitable frame to add drop bars to? have had a bit of a 'google look', but can't see too many drop bar el mariachis ... otherwise i'll have to very reluctantly consider letting this one go and get a singular gryphon frame ...

Compare a Fargo and El Mar, in medium.

Fargo is 12MM shorter in ETT, 40mm shorter in reach, 40mm higher stack. With drop bars, I'm thinking you'd need a pretty short stem...if it was doable.

I just turned my El Mar from ss to 1x9 winter bike with On-One midge bars + 40mm stem. A short test ride showed positive results For the moment we have -16C and that's a bit too much for my a*s so further testing has to wait.

i used an older pic when it had most of the components off the gt peace 9r multi, tyres are wtb exiwolf 2.1 ...
it now has commuting wheels with 29x2.0 big apples on it, plus an xt crank, x.9 shifter and rear deraileur, specialised henge saddle ...

So Simple, So Clean, So Smooth, So Nice...As pictured 21.35lbs size large...Can't wait for my Whiskey carbon fork and xx1 cranks to come in..it will be down to just over 20...Not bad for a 5.5lb frame....

    From this mornings ride...

I finally found a 2013 large El Mariachi frame. I had to go to the UK but I found one. It was actually less to buy it there and pay shipping than it would of been here with sales tax. Thanks to Charliethebikemonger and his Mrs for helping me out. Great customer service and I got the bike in 4 days. It actually beat my Niner fork to Texas from California. So, I have to wait until Monday to finish the build.

2013 El Mariachi with components swapped from another frame. Two rides on this baby so far and I'm loving it. Here it is getting ready for yesterday's XC Race.

    Just pick this up!!

Picked up my 1st El Mar.. 2011, Cromoto Grande Fork, SS (34 teeth ring and 18 teeth cog). Man, I am glad I went rigid. This is a fun bike.. Love the ride quality of the steel frame and once again, love the handling of the "Salsa" frame.. Man, can they make a frame.. I had to sell my 2010 GF Rig to get into this, but it was worth it.. I put about 40 miles of fire road and single track thus far. No complaints, this bike is awsome. I bet training on this thing, will make my Sita seem like more of a rocket when I get back on that bike..
