    Carbon firestarter fork?

So somehow stumbled upon this: Salsa Firestarter Carbon 29 Fork, Disc Only - Salsa from Triton Cycles UK

but on the Salsa website they only list it as steel. If this is true, this may be the fork I want for the 2014 KM. Anyone know anything about this?

It is the fork that is spec'ed on the 2014 Fargo. It is a carbon fork with the 15QR axle and anything cage mounts designed in.

That is the new carbon fork that comes on the 2014 Fargo. Not sure about compatibility with a KM.

Won't work with a KM due to the tapered steerer, but will fit a KM Ops (though it's designed for a 468mm fork and this is 483mm).

2014 KM has a 44mm head tube. This will fit.

Being pedantic, as I said in my post above, it won't fit a KM (which remains 1⅛") but it will fit a KM Ops, which is the newly-launched frame with a 44mm HT.

    Q says MSRP of $595

Seems like it would be a nice addition to MTB if that's the sort of thing you are looking for. I kinda want to try one.
