    Heard it's just under 25lbs out of the box. Looks awesome. Probably pricey.

    Salsa Beargrease Carbon with exclusive SRAM XX1 group. These will be shipping in the fall with a MSRP of $5499. Salsa will also be offering a X9 version of the Beargrease Carbon for $3499.

    Both bikes use an all new carbon fork and feature front and rear thru-axles.

    The carbon fork will be available in 2014 and will retro fit current Salsa Beargrease and Mukluks that have the 44mm head tube.

    If you prefer to build your own a frameset will also be available for $2599 and will include frame, fork, and hubs.

    Nope. He rode a 'regular' aluminum Beargrease.
