    2013 Vaya Ti Gone!

    Why is the Vaya Ti going away in 2013?

    Look at the 2013 thread, and I think you'll find your answers. Specifically - Warbirds, Colossal, Vaya Travel.

    Sure, I see the new models but the Vaya is still being produced in steel. Just wondering why they are dropping the Ti version.

    READ the thread. Lots of info, and reasoning for next year's lineup, some from the Salsa guys.

    The long and short -- it probably doesn't sell that well. I have yet to see one in person, yet ive seen a PILE of steel rides.

    News to me as I haven't been paying attention. Riding season you know. I would of spent extra $ when I got my steel frame but 2k plus fork and build would of shot the $ past what I have in my road bike. I'm glad I got the steel. It's a great bike. My carbon road bike is a garage queen. It must be the cost for the type of bike it is.
    PS To the OP the XX is one of the greatest bikes ever made. Had an 01
