What thru axle for 950 element

    Bought myself another wheel,

NoTubes Arch EX 29er Rear QR Wheel with a 12x142mm conversion kit.

Am I correct in my understanding that the frame will hold all 142mm hubs but that the axles are brand specific?

What axle will fit into my Rocky mountain element 950?

    Thanks guys

The 12mm axles are frame fitting specific, so things like the Syntace X-12 axle use a different fitting in the frame than the Shimano type. The 142mm x 12mm hubs will all be the same, so you can use the current 12mm axle that was shipped with the frame in any 142 x 12mm hub

Ah well, that's a bigger challenge then...

The axle that shipped with my Instinct 999 MSL frame appears to be a Shimano SLX SM-AX65 E-Thru 142 x 12mm
