Rocky Mountain Internal Cable Routing Noise

I've been for half a dozen rides on my new Element 970. While I am loving the bike, I am really noticing the clicking noise coming from the cable housing where it enters the frame near the head tube, particularly when I turn the handlebars.

Has anyone noticed this, and come up with a way of eliminating this noise? I've noticed that the cable housing has red anodized aluminum end caps where they enter the frame, so maybe switching to plastic ones might help.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

We've recently made the switch to plastic end caps where the housing enters the frame to eliminate this exact noise. What we found was that with enough dust, creaking would become a problem with the alloy housing ends. Swap them over and rest assured that everything will be quiet again!
