    RM instinct carbon quality&lay up

Anyone know if all models have the same quality frames ? I actually prefer the colours on the cheaper ones and im tempted to buy one and just upgrade the parts and get the rest onto ebay. Only really want the frame but it only comes in red and black and Im a bit sick of that from previous RMs owned

The carbon frames are all the same, just the paint is different. The differences are usually in the rear triangle which will be alloy on the lower priced models. The Instinct 950 MSL has an alloy rear triangle where the 970 MSL has a carbon rear triangle.

The last time they did a different carbon material and layup was on the 2009 Vertex RSL 50/70 and the Vertex RSL Team where the RSL Team had the high modulus carbon.

Thanks. Yeah ..still have a vertex team rsl 26" er. Pains me to say it but its now my winter hack bike with rigid forks. Given the number of world poor it makes me feel guilty riding what was a UKP 1500 frame like it is worthless.

I digress.. Your new bike looks sweet. Will get one I think ..but clearing the shed so its cost and guilt neutral!
