RM Flow Raw for daily use?

    Hi

I'm new to mountain bikes, having only ridden a hybrid for the last few years and I've been offered an 07 Flow Raw for a decent price (at least I think so, being based in Japan) but I won't have the chance to try it out first if I go for it.

I'm 5'11" and 180lb and the bike is 16.5". I also want to use it for general use, in which case how comfortable am I going to find it?

    Thanks
    H

When you say general use do you mean trail riding or urban jumping and riding? That size of frame might feel fairly short for regular trail riding for someone 5'-11" and you might have trouble getting enough seat height.

I was thinking urban riding but also want to do some trail riding.
Like you say, I guess I need to check if I can get sufficient seat height.

I'm fairly confident that at 5'11", you won't be able to get full seat height on this bike. For urban/dirt jump riding, this bike would be great, but not for commuting or regular mountain biking.
